Book Cover Design

At Main St. Design, we designed the book cover for “In Their Own Words,” a memoir compiling stories from residents of Harford County in the 20th century. The cover featured a nostalgic yet timeless design, incorporating vintage photographs and subtle typography to evoke a sense of history and personal connection. We used a warm, inviting color palette to reflect the memoir’s heartfelt nature and to draw readers into the personal narratives within. This design approach ensured that the cover was both visually appealing and resonant with the book’s theme of capturing the authentic voices and experiences of the community.
